Welcome!!! We call ourselves The Goss Team, which is a perfect fit to our family owned and operated business! It's a privilege to work together as a family every day, and everyone brings a different skillset to the table in order to help us serve you better! Here's a little bit about each of us:

Shelly -

      Hi there!! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! Here’s just a little bit about myself. I grew up in Northern Virginia, where I met my husband of many years! Come to find out, we had probably passed each other several times at county fairs and community events since the time we were young! I have thankfully raised two kids to adulthood, and afterwards dove straight into realty! Over the years we have had the opportunity of moving over 10 times, all throughout Virginia; needless to say, I completely understand what buyers and seller go through! I have always loved helping others and it makes me happy when I do, so real estate is absolutely the perfect fit for me! Can’t wait to help you!!

Kenny - 

Hello! I’m Kenny, Shelly’s husband, and I have lived in Virginia all my life. From the time I was a teenager, I have worked in the vehicle painting industry and have painted everything from small aircraft to entire busses to sports cars! It wasn’t until I was a young adult though that I met and married my beautiful wife, and we have been together ever since! We had always planned on finding something we could do together once I fully retired – everything from house flippers to school bus drivers has been on the table – but real estate just seems to fit us perfectly. Thankfully, as I wound down to retirement, I was able to jump right in and help her help you!

Cole - 

“They call me… The Administrator!!!” I’m Cole, Shelly’s administrator. I do most of the behind-the-scenes work, but I am also a licensed agent, which allows me to help with any and every real estate need that may arise! I have lived in Virginia since I was born and I absolutely love it here! I graduated with honors after being homeschooled for every single one of my high school years (by the best teacher ever I might add: AKA mom)! I then went on to obtain an engineering degree from a local college. Of course, things rarely turn out how you originally plan them to, and it is for this that I am extremely grateful, as, if it did, I would have never had this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work side by side with my family! I’d have it no other way, and I hope we can work together to help you better!

Cari - 

Nice to meet you, I’m Cari! My husband - Coaty - and I have been married for over a quarter of a century (I love saying it like that) and have been living here in Fredericksburg for more than half that time. We have been blessed with 7 wonderful children during our life together, all of which we have homeschooled from the start. For most years, I have worked from home, doing marketing and providing customer service for insurance companies and the like. I am so excited to be able to reach our community's families and help them in any way I can as a member of the Goss Team! Hope to see you soon!

  Why Choose Us

Over the years, I (Shelly) have moved more than 10 times, and have contacted so many different real estate agents that I cannot even count them all. Out of all of them, I can truly say that only 2 have actually helped me. To me, help is answering or returning a phone call in a timely manner and coming to the table with a kind & helpful attitude. Help is providing pertinent information about a property someone was interested in, or setting up appointments and email lists of new listings that meet any given criteria. Overall, it is the effort that it takes to help someone buy or sell a home, and that is something I never really felt coming from any of the other realtors I had spoken to.

            This is why we at The Goss Team strive to do all of those things and more for our clients. After even just two years of being in the business we were able to achieve becoming one of the top real estate teams in our region, and we are proud to say that after many more years since then we are still one of the top teams to this day. It’s not simply about sending a bunch of houses your way and leaving you on your own, or putting your house on the market and forgetting about you; we always try to make ourselves available to our clients, whether that be for showings or just general questions about the process itself. That is what we feel it takes to truly help you.

            We all really do share this philosophy. So, “Why?” you ask, should you choose us? Because we are the team that will work for you at the level you need to buy or sell your home! We realize that the whole process of buying and selling your home is a journey and at times it can be long & arduous, but we are so happy to walk with you along this path, wherever it may lead, and to be able to help in any way we can.
